Hello, I’m Marta Lucas, a freelance communications consultant with over 15 years of experience in the communications sector. I gained experience working with NGOs, international organisations, and political organisations in Switzerland, Spain, and Mexico. I bring a holistic communications profile, having handled various communication roles, such as events, visual communications, corporate, and media relations, and created and implemented communication and media relations strategies.
In 2020, I founded CasaBleue Communication, sàrl. The idea for this agency originated in Mexico while I was working as a communications and fundraising consultant for a drug R&D organisation. While in Mexico City, I found inspiration in the Casa Azul, which awakened my admiration and creativity, much like Frida Kahlo’s paintings. This led me to realise the need for a ‘Casa Azul’ for my projects, a place to work on communication projects for organisations striving for social change.
My educational background includes a master’s in Advertising and Public Relations from Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, and a master’s in European Studies with a specialisation in Politics and Economics from the Global Studies Institute, University of Geneva, Switzerland. Additionally, I have a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley. I strongly believe in continuous learning and have furthered my skills through courses in Infographics from Escola d’Ingenieria y Disseny Elisava, Barcelona, and WordPress CMS from Nomades, Geneva. Apart from formal qualifications, I have gained valuable skills through informal training in parenting twins and organising expatriations with twins, enhancing my adaptability and organisational skills. Lastly, collaborating with exceptional clients has been my best training form.

At Casableue, I will collaborate directly with you to carry out your project from A to Z. I rely on other consultants when your projects need specific technical expertise in web development or if we need more resources for a larger graphic design project. If this is the case, my role is to manage the project and do the work of an art director.
If your project is related to website technology, our team will be joined by Robert Roig, an application development and systems engineering consultant with over 15 years of experience in the NGO and cooperative sector. Robert has been working for Casableue for four years as an ICT developer.
